Edward John Funerals are open and honest about Funeral Costs. These vary depending on the services and products you require, and whether your loved one is to be Buried or Cremated. Edward John Funerals offer a range of set Funeral Packages which depict the most popular selections in service and products, as well as the option to create a bespoke Funeral to suit your needs and budget by selecting the individual services and products you require.

The fees detailed below are fees charged from us as the funeral directors.
In addition to our fees there will also be the coffin or casket fee and the disbursements.

“Fully Inclusive Package”

  • Making all arrangements, administrative office work, provision of donations box, completion and delivery of paperwork
  • Transfer of deceased to our premises from within a twenty mile radius of office

Bespoke Funeral Costings

The below cost options are our most popular Funeral Package Fees. 
More options are available on table of fees. These do not include the disbursements (3rd party fees).

“Direct Cremation Package” – Payment In Full Prior To Cremation

  • Making all arrangements, administrative office work, completion and delivery of paperwork
  • Transfer of deceased to our premises from within a twenty mile radius of office
  • Economy Coffin
  • Provision of a suitable vehicle to transport coffin to Rowley Regis Crematorium
  • Cremation Fee at Rowley Regis Crematorium only & Dr’s Fees for Cremation Forms 4 + 5

Please note: there is no service, and no mourners can attend the date of cremation which is set at our discretion.

Total Amount: £1995.00 (£300.00 premium if another crematorium is required)

  • Golden Charter Pre Paid Funeral Plan Administration Fee: £249.00
  • Arranging of Burial of Ashes if we have not conducted funeral or masonry work: £100.00
  • Colourful Personaliszed Ashes Casket £200.00

Fees Correct as of 1st April 2020

Adult Funerals are classed as 16 Years of Age and above.
Child Funerals are classed as Aged 24 Months of Age to 16 Years of Age. These funerals are costed at 50% of our adult fees.
Baby Funerals are classed as NVF, Stillborn up to 24 Months of Age. There is no charge for these funerals.
